Dr. Margaret Stone DDS

Dr. Margaret Stone has been providing exceptional dental services in Woodstock for more than 29 years since graduating from the University of Michigan School Of Dentistry in 1988. After graduation, she was in private practice in Michigan and taught at the dental school. During a trip “out east,” she fell in love with the quaint New England village of Woodstock, Vermont. In January 1991, she moved to Woodstock and has since been providing her community with superior quality dental services designed to provide optimal oral health.

Over the years, she has been part of Woodstock Rotary and currently is a sponsor of the Thompson Senior Center. She also supports the Norman Williams Library. She enjoys her contribution to this sweet village.

Her emphasis is on complete health dentistry—dentistry as it relates to one’s overall wellbeing. She excels in cosmetic dentistry and is thrilled to give her patients something to smile about! She believes in creating an atmosphere of trust and comfort and enjoys being able to provide her services in an environment that is physically and emotionally comforting to her patients.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Dr. Stone is licensed in Vermont and Michigan. She keeps her clinical skills current through continuing education. Her interests range from cosmetic/esthetic restorations to compassionate communication skills to the connection of oral health to one’s overall health. She is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association) and VSDS (Vermont State Dental Society). She has been affiliated with ITI (International Team for Implantology) and AAOSH (American Academy for Oral Systemic Health. She has offered many hours of volunteer service at the Red Logan Free Dental Clinic in White River Junction.

SPECIAL DENTAL SKILLS

Dr. Stone places mercury-free fillings, uses state-of-the-art dental imaging for 3D milling of Zirconium crowns, offers dental sleep apnea appliances, and is very knowledgeable in how one’s oral health affects their overall health and vice versa.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Dr. Stone shares her life with Michael and their five children. They live in Hartland, Vermont. When not practicing dentistry or attending her children’s activities, Dr. Stone enjoys long runs, attending meditation retreats, attending theatrical productions, reading (everything from Thich Nhat Hanh inspirations to Jody Picoult novels), and preparing and eating Mexican cuisine. She enjoys traveling in order to experience as much of this beautiful world as possible!
